Travellers unfamiliar with the city and Leuven locals set off together to discover the hidden gem that is Leuven. It’s a city that is a surprising and new destination for many. For example, the Dutch cycling fanatic Japke Janneke went on an adventure with local sports enthusiast and Pilates teacher Els Talloen. Together, they cycled past Leuven’s hidden gems, such as Park Abbey, a green oasis of calm on the outskirts of the city.
You probably knew that Germans love beer, but content creator Jonas Anders Moll was surprised on the beer front by local Bart, who just so happens to own the De Coureur Brewery in Kessel-Lo. For Lisa Stel from the Netherlands, conscientiously moving around a city is important.
