Many newlyweds have their photos taken on this street, making it the ideal place to take a romantic photo with your loved one or a group of friends.
Universiteitsbibliotheek • University Library
This building offers 2 great spots for photos: in front of the building, and the very top for a 360 view of the entire city. The library does not disappoint and is well worth a visit inside.
Abdij van Park • Park Abbey
Park Abbey offers long stretching paths through the trees, beautiful lakes, and historic buildings as a background. Perhaps you can spot the swans that frequent the area and snap a photo with them.
Oude Markt
Strike a pose with a pretty cocktail drink or classic Belgian beer in the longest bar in Europe. Surrounded by brick laid buildings and full of life, you’ll get a great photo here! Or take a seat next to the ‘Kotmadam’, a statue of a woman sitting on a bench.
Inside Saint Peter's Church
Grand ceilings, beautiful stained glass, and long columns make this church an incredible place to photograph. Dating all the way back to 986 makes this building the oldest in Leuven.
Groot Begijnhof • Great Beguinage
Alleyways, courtyards, gardens, and houses built from sandstone at the Groot Begijnhof offer a great photo opportunity. Once used to house beguines, it is now inhabited by students.
Arenbergkasteel • Arenberg Castle
What could make a better photo than a beautiful castle with vast greenery surrounding it! This castle was once home to the Dukes of Leuven. Now, it is used to give lectures to students of the university.
Leuven train station
When you first arrive in Leuven via train, be sure to take a photo inside the train station. Don’t forget to turn around when exiting the station for another great photo of the main station building!
