Boodschapkapel

Since 1994, the impressive Helleputte building, part of the Heilig Hart Institute in Heverlee, has been protected. It is a typical example of school architecture roughly 125 years ago. The Boodschapkapel is located in the protected Van Reeth Building, a modernist extension of the 1930s.

Three Flemish artists created a large-scale project of international standing. The restoration of this breathtaking chapel and the Stevens organ was completed in 2010. The chapel is open every second Sunday of the month. Concerts take place regularly.

Come face to face with hidden and sometimes forgotten religious heritage gems, put on your headphones and let yourself be carried away by a titillating story.
