Two Leuven classics in one bike ride: the vibrant beer culture and master painter Dieric Bouts. 

  • Distance: 46 km
  • Starting point: Saint Peter's Church in Leuven (junction 10)
    • Before your visit to the Saint Peter's Church, you can park your bike in het bike parking below the Rector de Somerplein.
    • If you are coming by car, park at the Provincial domain (parking P1 at the Eénmeilaan) and start your route there (junction 4).
      Parking is paid from April through September.
  • Follow the cycling nodes: 10 - 74 - 75 - 73 - 11 - 33 - 80 - 5 - 4 - 81 - 35 - 30 - 72 - 26 - 99 - 26 - 27 - 28 - 97 - 87 - 88 - 95 - 38 - 6 - 7 - 10

Discover the cycling route

This 46 km cycling loop in and around the city takes you past centuries-old art and heritage, water, and green landscapes that inspired Bouts. Take a break at one of the local breweries along the route, scan the QR codes along the way, and discover even more about the places and life of Dieric Bouts.
