Keeping you safe

It is important that everyone who visits the abbey and PARCUM feels safe and enjoys their experience. That’s why we kindly ask that you observe the following guidelines.

Let’s keep one another safe during your visit

Reserve a timeslot

We are restricting the number of visitors allowed per timeslot. This helps avoid crowding during your visit.

Follow the designated route

A set route has been marked out to minimise visitors’ crossing paths.

Maintain social distancing

Please keep a safe distance from other visitors, guides and reception staff.

Sanitise your hands

You will find hand sanitiser gel provided throughout: at reception, in the toilets... A perspex screen is in place at the desk.

Face coverings

The wearing of face coverings is obligatory for anyone over 12 years of age visiting our historical halls. This policy will remain in place up until further notice to keep visitors as safe as possible, in smaller spaces in particular.

Audio guides available

The devices are sanitised after each use.

Please bring your own earphones with you for your own comfort.
